Charlotte received her B.A. in child and adolescent development from San Francisco State University and multiple subject teaching credential and master’s degree in education from Antioch University, Los Angeles.  She dreamed of teaching at a school committed to diversity, social justice and a constructivist approach to education, all of which she was thrilled to find in CWCSL. Prior to joining CWC, Charlotte worked with formerly homeless youth as a family services coordinator for Hollywood Community Housing.

Charlotte was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She speaks Spanish and has traveled through Mexico, Central America, South America, and India. In her free time, Charlotte loves reading in a hammock, hiking, and enjoying the many free cultural events in L.A. has to offer.
